And when we'd go in to comfort her, she'd wake fully up and then she'd really cry. Our pediatrician told us it's a sleep state and that we should let her sleep through it. It usually lasted less than 10 minutes (10 years in parent time) and never escalated unless we woke her up. And, like you, we sometimes caved and brought her to bed with us. For about a month she did it several times a week, but it decreased after that and completely stopped after a few months.

I don't know if that's what's happening with Caroline, but it sounds familiar. And it was comforting knowing that Lola at least wasn't in any pain. Good luck!

BTW, very cute pics! Very cute girls!!!Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13961739006307914355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13103661.post-1141138499347250332006-02-28T06:54:00.000-08:002006-02-28T06:54:00.000-08:00Don't worry David. I think lack of sleep stunts beard growth;) You know, our sleepwalking episodes were directly related to the stress from lack of sleep because the kids were up all night for two weeks straight due to respiratory infections. Thank goodness that's all over, but it did feel like those early days when we came home from the hospital. Kind of brings back fond memories...kind of.Genehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08108086142845005146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13103661.post-1140993982806644452006-02-26T14:46:00.000-08:002006-02-26T14:46:00.000-08:00I feel your pain! Chris took pity on me and took care of her since he is off today. Ugh! I hope tonight is better!Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09473178461700511405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13103661.post-1140977504373466002006-02-26T10:11:00.000-08:002006-02-26T10:11:00.000-08:00Maybe Caroline misses me. Tell her I'll see her soon that should calm her :) I hope you weren't mistaken for a defendant when you showed up in court with dark circles and unshaven! I'm assuming Katherine sleeps through Caroline's crying?!? I guess that’s the silver lining! I hope you get to the bottom of it and Caroline is her happy little self again soon!Amy75https://www.blogger.com/profile/16851938819596875537noreply@blogger.com
